Bio

I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. I moved to United States on 2009.I always envisioned coming to the United States to enroll in an accredited university to obtain my bachelor degree in the biological Sciences. My family was willing to give up everything we knew and had to move to the United States, so that my sister and I could pursue our dreams of becoming educated in the biological sciences. So far, I have been attending Phoenix College, pursuing an associate in science. At the same time, I am working part time in the Computer Commons, and tutoring in Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics in the Success Center at Phoenix College. Also, I’m a STEM Scholar peer mentor, and a Phoenix College Ambassador.
